Lethal Agent Tour Bookstore Profiles

*** If you want signed editions of Lethal Agent, the only way to purchase them is by contacting the tour stores directly.  The tour schedule includes links to the stores. They will reserve books and ship them to fans. ***   

This year, we are trying to ensure Mitch Rapp fans have a reason to care about every book signing event, even if they cannot attend.  We also want to support, and hope fans support, the stores on the tour.

We are profiling each store on the tour, providing some insights on “who they are,” view them below.  For each bookstore, we will be post twice on our social channels (Facebook and Twitter). Once to promote their profile and once to promote their event.  Any fan that shares/retweets the profile or event post (#MitchRappIsBack) will be eligible to win a signed edition of Lethal Agent from the store. One winner will be selected per event.

Barnes and Noble - September 24 @ 7PM

Barnes & Noble has been located in the Har Mar Mall in Roseville, Minnesota for more than 20 years. We enjoyed having Vince Flynn in our store and are pleased to continue his legacy with Kyle Mills.

Barnes & Noble is "The World’s Largest Bookseller" with stores in every state. Our store was one of the first Barnes & Noble Superstores outside of New York.

Mysterious Galaxy - September 26 @ 7PM

Founded in 1992, Mysterious Galaxy is an independent genre bookstore specializing in science fiction, fantasy, mystery, young adult, romance, and horror. We are dedicated to providing readers and book collectors with a great selection of books as well as the opportunity to meet many of those authors through our author events. It is through these events, conventions, and directly from publishers that we’re able to provide many signed first editions.

The Poisoned Pen - September 27 @ 7PM

The Poisoned Pen Bookstore, founded in 1989 by Barbara G. Peters, is an independent bookstore specializing in fiction. Discover with us current and classic works of mystery, thrillers, historical and literary fiction, and literature of the American Southwest, much of it offered in Autographed First Editions and imports. Our Book Clubs bring exciting new work right to your door.

Vince Flynn appeared at our door one day with his car trunk filled with his first and self published book and it went from there, he appearing at The Poisoned Pen to ever increasing audiences until he was too ill to travel. And then he signed copies for us at home. His last appearance was with Rick Riordan, (pictured). We mourn him and one way to honor him and Kyle Mills is to host Kyle as often as he will visit The Pen.

The Poisoned Pen is the first store to allow fans to reserve signed copies of Lethal Agent via an online store (you can even request an inscription). Check it out!

The Dallas Flagship Half Price Books is approximately 54,000 square feet, making it a must see for booklovers while in Dallas.

Murder By The Book is one of the nation's oldest and largest mystery specialty bookstores, established in 1980 by Martha Farrington, and purchased by McKenna Jordan in 2009. The store stocks over 25,000 books -- new & used, hardbacks & paperbacks, first editions, collectibles, gift items, mystery magazines, and more. We host over 200 of the hottest mystery, crime, and fantasy authors for book signing events every year. We've had everyone from Dick Francis to P.D. McKenna Jordan has her Bachelor's Degree in English and a Master's in Violin Performance from University of Houston. She's owned Murder By The Book since January 2009.

Salt Marsh Author Series - October 1 @ 12PM

E. Shaver, Bookseller, local and independent since 1975. will provide the books for Kyle’s appearance at the Salt Marsh Author Series.

The building that houses E. Shaver, Bookseller was built in 1842 by Eliza Jewett, a female builder, for her personal residence. It also was the home of an antiques shop for a time in the 1950's. In 1975 Ed and Esther Shaver, a newlywed couple from Louisville, KY, visited Savannah on their honeymoon. They fell in love with the city and decided to stay. Esther was already a successful business woman with five thriving bookstores and Ed was a prominent contractor. They each sold their respective businesses and set up shop in Savannah, opening E. Shaver, Bookseller in 1975. Esther sold the shop in 2015 to the current owner, Jessica Osborne. Jessica had been an employee of the store for several years and the business has continued to thrive under her leadership. Not long after Jessica took the reins, a pair of delightfully fluffy bookshop cats, Bartleby and Mr. Eliot, joined the management team. A scrappy little foundling named Skimbleshanks came on board in 2018, rounding out the trifecta of cats to the delight of our customers.
