Here's a pic of me with Vince Flynn from this spring. He was gracious enough to fly out to Washington for a town hall meeting with our Governor to see the Red Bulls!! As a crew member I was very excited to have the Governor fly with us but while waiting outside the plane I saw Vince standing with the Governor and totally blew off the Governor to shake Vince's hand....as I have read every book and am a HUGE FAN!!!!!!! After a long flight and day even though he was tired, Vince took the time to talk to me personally about my deployments. I thanked him because his books got me back into reading!! Thank you SSGT Paul H. Jensen

I am so sad to hear of your passing. I know you are in a better place and pray God gives your family peace and comfort during this incredibly difficult time.
A photo will be coming soon of my shipmates and I on the flight deck of the amphibious assault ship USS WASP (LHD 1) reading your amazing work.
Thank you for the iconic Mitch Rapp and rest is peace Vince. - Gretchen
My sister and I went to the Men of Mystery event Nov 2007 just to meet Vince. We were pretty excited knowing we were going to meet him and when the elevator stopped there he was (and none too happy for not getting his breakfast or coffee from room service). He was one of the guest speakers and captivated EVERYONE with his story! I will never forget how warm and friendly he was to everyone even without his breakfast and coffee! Vince will always be my favorite author! - Susan
Vince Flynn was a great man, a terrific author, and an outstanding American. If you haven't read his thrillers, do so - you're missing out. If you have read them, find someone today who hasn't and encourage them to pick one up. Vince was a master in every sense of the word. Thank you, Vince for hours of amazing reading, as well as the generous support you gave me when I began my career. Rest in peace. - Brad Thor

Heather Davis with her sculpture called “Shadow Man,” which depicts Mitch Rapp escaping into an open from a return duct.
This sculpture won “Best of Show” -the award of excellence by the people’s choice at Chester County (PA) Art Association Show at the Chester County Gallery last December. She gifted this piece to Vince.
A good friend and a great author. He died too young and he will be missed. - Paul F.
When we had the honor of doing Operation Rapp Pack with Vince Flynn and I then started The Harvath Directive with his blessing and support, he sent me this gift:an autographed copy of Consent to Kill and a Manuscript with corrections of Consent to Kill.
Honor rendered my friend!!! - Carlos
This just came in the mail today. I bought it from a bookstore in St Paul Minnesota, it was signed by Vince Flynn in 2005.
This is immediately one of my most prized possessions, and on display in my home. What a treasure!
I never ever read a book, ever. Someone suggested for me to read Flynn's work, and I decided to give it a go. That was last year, just before he passed away.
I began reading his Mitch Rapp series in chronological order and was absolutely hooked from the first chapter, of the first book. His books were the reason I joined the local library, and I breezed through them in a mater of a couple months.
Vince Flynn is absolutely the gold standard in this genre, there is nobody that compares, and believe me, I've been looking. Other authors are good, and other characters are interesting. But nothing compares to the team of Flynn and Rapp.
I miss Mitch Rapp very much, and I'm so sorry to Flynn's family that he was taken form this earth far too soon! Thanks for all the great stories Flynn, thank you.
I'll treasure this signed book forever. In my humble opinion, it's signed by the greatest author of my generation.
Rest in peace, Vince.
