Last year, Governor Tim Walz signed Rep. Jim Nash's resolution to make April 6, Vince Flynn's birthday, Vince Flynn Day in the state of Minnesota.

The official ceremony was held on Wednesday April 6, 2022 in St. Paul, MN.

Vincent J. Flynn: 1966 - 2013

Vince Flynn, the bestselling author of the Mitch Rapp thriller series died in 2013 after a long battle with prostate cancer. He was 47. The fifth of seven children, Vince Flynn was born in St. Paul, Minnesota, on April 6, 1966.
